There is always a Method Behind The Madness
Here are the Details of My Dream Project
All my well wishers want me to do a 3 hour event. According the them, a full day event with one speaker who has no previous experience will not help the cause. According to team, it will be hard to keep the audience focused with one speaker and in such a hot weather when it is tough to sit for even an hour. Plus ticket selling will be tough.
I first come up with my best material and arrange it in an hour by hour sequence. Then, I figure out what can be the best title that can justify my work as well as do the marketing trick. I come up with NAIL THE LIZARD. Come up with an idea to bring DJ with advance audio system in the hall to keep the audience engaged. At last, I figure out what if we come up with rubber lizards and stick those lizards under the seats of participants and once they learn about how to deal with fears, we ask them to hold those lizards in hands so we can make photos of those people with lizards. This idea not only excites my team but also it helps us in pre and after event marketing. With those lizards, we also agree to cut on profit margins by giving lunch and extra gifts i.e. certificates, cups and much more surprizes.
- We sold out the event.
- Nobody moves from seat until the event ends.
- It was a blockbuster and open ways for us.
I will put more weight behind photography because at that time I didn’t knew that it will be the only event attended by my mother and father. Also, it was the event attended by my teachers and so many other beloved people of mine.
- Doing things you love will always give you more rewarding outcoming than anything else.
- A great idea backed by dedicated efforts can do the miracles. A great idea always makes it way in each phase of the project i.e. product development, marketing, execution etc.
- Trying to bet on yourself when others are doubting is the most important thing you can do in your career.
- It is always a risk to introduce something new and pitch it in a new way but it always worth it in long run. Because that risk makes you a better thinker, leader and character.
- We must showcase our work, the way we work and impact of our work to our family especially our parents.
