Here are the Details of My Dream Project
No experience on how to start the company, run a company and to approach a business. With no prior business or traditional corporate experience on the back and not enough funding, the real challenge was we were struggling from day one.
I shared the idea with my best friend Mr. Muhammad Samar Gulzar and bring him as a co-founder and CEO. I love product development part of the business. We name it “Trim-Tab” on the idea inspired by Stephen R. Covey. We approach it with a strategy to bring multiple SBUs under the company in order to run it smoothly and earn from multiple streams i.e. training and development, event management and digital agency.
- In the span of 4 years, we work in four different industries and learn from it.
- We sustain it profits until we concluded it on the high.
- Collected 4 years of experience in designing personal development products, selling it, and organizing seminars/workshops and training events.
- Get access to multiple valuable contacts, opportunities, and experiences.
- At one stage, have 25 team members.
I will take my team more seriously.
Will focus more ruthlessly on finance of the company.
Will bring better operating systems.
- Opening a company with an aim to acquire more freedom is the wrong reason to start a venture. Starting and running a company takes way more time than doing a job.
- Complacency and trying to do many things all at once is the sure-fire way to destroy the venture.
- Avoiding the facts, figures and data is the lethal mistake we can do in any project.
- Acquring the great team is 25% of the work, rest of the 75% is to keep that team align and build a strong culture.
- Personal life, decisions and the way a leader of the venture shows up is way more important than we consider.
